With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Junk Quality & Ugly
NOT BLUE first disappointment upon opening, instead an ugly poorly dyed red.
Then top it off with collapsing and un-collapsing twice the clear plastic sides formed a nice crack. Design would be ok if made of better plastic and silicone sides.
Damn chinese made garbage and waste of $10. CAN'T return because it functioned DOA. Same garbage quality stuff you find at walmart in the clearance bin.
I'm buying a Lekue silicone collapsible colander then inverting it. It should do the exact same thing, but from past experience the silicone is made in Spain is of substantially better quality than this POS.

NOT Blue
I like the collapsible feature and has held up for several years. The lid looks just like promised except in RED. There was nothing stated on the page that you could choose a different color option. It works just fine but extremely disappointed that it is not blue.

I didn't like it. From useing it on different sizes the shield tore around the seams. If you don't change the height you might be o.k.
